KENYA : Runda qualify for NBA play-off date

Unbeaten Runda booked a ticket to the Nairobi Basketball Association play-off finals with an easy 96-61 win over Africa Nazarene University (ANU) at Nyayo National Stadium over the weekend.

Ken Ondiek scored 17 points to lead the veterans, who were playing in their first league, to the play-off finals. George Makori scored 16 for ANU.
At Railways Club, Kenya Polytechnic beat Blazers 66-55 in another semi-finals to tie the series 1-1. Game Three will be played this weekend.
Samuel Ochola had 29 points, eight rejects and 10 rebounds to lead the victors.
Joel Atebe had 19 for Blazers. Predators also forced a series
tying 1-1with a 34-24 win over Nairobi Pentecostal Church. Valentine Apondi scored 15 points. Quinter Ramogi nailed 10 points to lead Catholic Dream Team to a 40-39 win over Mennonites who had 16 from Florence Mbithe.

The series is also tied 1-1.
