City Oilers 54-47 Ngejje Angels (Oilers lead series 1-0)
All the intrigue of the City Oilers - Ndejje University Angels playoffs first round Game 1 match-up was gone shortly after halftime.
Ndejje held Oilers to 13 points in the first half, but couldn't stop anything the back-to-back champions did in the third quarter.
Oilers scored 25 points in the third frame en route to the 54-47 win over the university outfit ay YMCA to take the series lead.
Kami Kabange scored 19 points to lead the way for the champions. Jimmy Enabu and Landry Ndikumana contributed 13 points each in the low scoring game.
Shooting Guard, Micheal Otieno matched game high 19 points for Ndejje. Brian Odur had 9 points while Jonah Otim was limited to 6 points.
Game 3 is on Sunday, November 8 at YMCA.
