All is now set for the final round of the Zenith Bank Women Basketball League, which will feature eight teams, including Dolphins, First Bank, First Deepwater, Sunshine Angels, Delta Force, Benue Princess, Customs and IGP Queens.
The winner of the competition will get Zenith Bank's N1.2 million after the event scheduled for the National Stadium, Lagos, from July 18 to 25.
According to the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), arrangements and logistics have already been put in place for the tournament, adding that the coaches of the final eight teams have began plotting strategies to outshine their opponents.
First Bank, who are the defending champions of the competition, have been tipped by followers of the game as the team to beat in the final round.
Aside the champions, who will receive N1.2 million, the second placed team will earn N750, 000, while the third position will get N500, 000.
