KPA got off to a slow start as they trailed 14-10 in the opening stanza. But spurred on by their home fans, they soon recovered to take a strong 14-8 margin in the second quarter. At the breather they had surged ahead 30-22.
After the intermission, Co-op once again was the better side off the blocks taking a 16-12 advantage in the third quarter but they could not hang for that four point advantage as they went down 11-10 in a close knit deciding frame.
