The two women’s sides were humiliated by hosts
Uganda Christian University (UCU) in the Zuku University Basketball
League (ZUBL) on Saturday.
Ritah Imanishimwe scored a game high 20 points while Purity Odhiambo added 14 for UCU to drub Busitema 83-2.

Lukia Nabayego scored Busitema’s only basket,
earning herself plaudits from everyone watching including the home fans.
In the other game, UCU were more ruthless, notching a century in a
117-7 victory over Busoga. UCU men also did so well on the day as they
thumped Busoga 80-21 while Kampala University edged St Lawrence 39-36 in
the other game.
