Bushcourt Vs Diamonds In The Sun, 2:00pm YMCA
Bushcourt has recieved a harsh welcome into the National Basketball League. Two losses in two games is what league freshers Bushcourt have gotten.
The freshers will return to the floor against a team they share a record, Diamonds In The Sun for their third game of the season.
“We are a new team in the NBL and we were overwhelmed in the first loss because of inexperience but you can tell there is work in progress” Bush Court’s guard, Brian Cucu said.
While Bushcourt’s opponents boast in the size of the players – never mind the execution, Cucu believes size will not be a big issue when they face DITS.
 “We are the smallest team in the league in terms of size but i think that should not be a big problem because we are atleast trying to be quick” he says.
Bushcourt suffered a 40 points loss against Ndejje to start the season but were much better against Charging Rhinos – a game they lost by 11 points.
“The next game (against Diamonds) should be way better than any of the last two losses. We know the work that is demanded in the NBL. We are working hard at practice and i hope it can pay off in the games that we are playing here”Brian Cucu told Kawowo Sports.
Meanwhile, DITS have been at the recieving of atleast 81 points in their two season opening games against league giants Stanbic Warriors and Tiger Head Power.
Brian Rugyendo will be hoping his team pick their first win of the season against Bushcourt.
