UGANDA : 2015 Zuku University Basketball League Continues

The second edition of the Zuku University Basketball league games resumed on Saturday at the Bush Courts premises in Kololo.
In one of the opening games played, Sader Segamba master minded St Lawrence 55-37 victory with a game high26 points.
Power new signing, Michael Makiadi had a team high 22 points for Cavendish with Daniel Najja Jjuuko- the other outstanding player for Cavendish.

In the opening two fixtures in the women’s category, IUIU beat St Lawrence University 45-41 in a closely contested encounter.
Emmah Akinyi (St Lawrence) and Sumaya Nabiranda (IUIU) each posted 17 points apiece before St Lawrence’s 16 points had the difference.
The women’s defending champions, Makerere University continued with their great form in this year’s tourney winning 35-25 over Cavendish University.
In a game that witnessed low scores at an individual level, Sarah Nassimbwa of Makerere registered 10 points as Benah Moru (Cavendish) had just 9 on the day.
The league games continue on Sunday (12th April 2015) at the Bush Courts while the activation day is set for Tuesday at Kampala International University (KIU) with three games on card.
ZukuTv are sponsoring the ZUBL games for the second year running in Uganda.
The sponsors and organizers through Miles and Associates together with Pmaoja Afrique have also confirmed that there will be the ‘All Stars game’ of Kenyan men and women teams taking on their counter parts from Uganda at the Lugogo Indoor stadium.
