Nigeria Women Basketball - FCT Angels Defeat Nasarawa Amazons
FCT Angels basketball team of Abuja won their opening game as the
11th Zenith Bank National Basketball Female Basketball League got
underway by beating Nasarawa Amazons of Lafia 63-37.
The league, which is a nine-day event, is holding from April 25 to May 3.
It is taking place at the Indoor Sports Hall of the Abuja National Stadium, and is being organised by the Nigeria Basketball Federation, NBBF.
In the game played as one of Day One matches on Saturday, the FCT Angels took control of the game by leading in all the quarters.
At the end of the match, Emmanuel Odah, the coach of the FCT Angels, said he was happy they won the game as it would help to ginger them into finishing well.
