This year’s National Basketball League tune up event has attracted has attracted 20 teams – 12 men’s and 8 women's. One of the women’s teams is a school side, Buddo S.S
The teams have been grouped into two for the women and the top two in each group will qualify for the semis and then a chance to play at the finals. For the men’s category, teams have been grouped into four and the top two will qualify out of the groups.
Women’s Groups:
Group A: UCU, Gladiators, Makerere, Javon
Group B: KIU, KCCA, Amazon, Budo SS
Men’s Groups:
Group A: UCU, JKL, UPDF
Group B: KIU, Our Saviour, Makindye
Group C: Ndejje, Warriors, Phenoms
GroupD: Power, DITS, UMU
