SPRITE powered Bball Kitaa resumes on Friday with a match between U-15 and U-13 upcoming stars. The U-13 team comprises players who participated in an international tournament in Canada last year.
The big match between Team Karabani and Team Adam Juma will be played later this month and the winners will walk away with a 10m/- cash prize.
It is billed to be a tough but thrilling encounter given the experience of players from both sides. Team Karabani goes into the match with bitter memories, having lost the previous tie when the two rivals played at the same venue last year.
"We are looking forward to a tough rematch. We have undertaken all the necessary preparations and I believe we will win this time round," Bball Kitaa coordinator and Team Karabani supporter, Karabani Karabani, told reporters in Dar es Salaam.
Team Adam Juma, on the other hand, also sounded optimistic that their team was all out to turn the tables against their opponent and grab the prize.
The cash prize has been contributed equally by the two teams and it is regarded as a great source of inspiration for all the players involved in the match to employ their basketball skills to the best of their ability.
