Before Sunday’s win over UR-CoE, Jean Bahufite’s team had earlier defeated archrivals APR 69-65 on Saturday as well as UGB 68-51 on Friday evening respectively.
On Sunday at Amahoro indoor stadium, 19-year-old youngster Bruno Nyamwasa led Espoir charge with game high 25 points while Olivier Shyaka and Ian Mugabo contributed 13 points apiece.
Speaking to Times Sport on Monday, Espoir coach Bahufite said, “I have to admit things went really well for us this weekend. To win three games in three days is not an easy feat so I must congratulate my players for the effort they put in to make sure we achieve our target.”
