NEWLY promoted Equity Bank women's team will open their 2015 Premier League campaign against former champions Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) in Mombasa on March 14.
According to the fixtures released yesterday by Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) competitions secretary Joseph Amoko, a total of 18 matches among them10 Premier League duels are on card in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kakamega, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and Thika.
The bankers, considered as a new forces in women basketball in the country, will tip off their programme with a tight duel. They have a talent laden side led by last year's Most Vaulable Player (MVP) Hilda Indasi and previous holder of the crown Samba Mjomba.
