KENYA : Equity Bank Hit Nazarene University in NBA League

EQUITY Bank sunk Africa Nazarene University 77-23 in a Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) women's league match at the Railways Club. Irene Ondego led the chart unbeaten bankers with 14 points with Samba Mjomba contributing 17.
Gladiators beat Daystar University 39-31 with Stella Opondo nailing 17 while Linda Kimemia made a strong presence with 14. Daystar had eight from Claire Syokau. MKU Thika hit JKUATS 40-30, behind 15 points from Anne Lukongo while Mary Chepkoi had 10 for Juja girls. Don Bosco beat 4-Christ 69-58 as Joel Atebe provided game high of 21 points for the winners. Daniel Imbali shot the losers' 17.
Mt Kenya University, Thika beat Old Pirates 57-43 as Lameck Namwini nailed 13 points and Paul Kimathi hit Pirates' 12. JKUATS, Karen dimmed Pandas 47-39. Darlington Getuno was good for 17 while Denis Maluli managed 14 for Pandas. Collins Ochilo nailed 16 points as Emyba nipped Our Lady Queen of Peace 54-53.
Moses Nyandega made 13 for the losers. Machakos Hawks bagged maximum points as they eclipsed Upper Hill School 59-42. Augustine Munica nailed 21 points and Garang Deng posted 18 for the school boys. Strathmore University won 58-49 over Woodley Knights as Keith Adams collected 24. Arol Run made 15 for Knights. United States International University pipped Mt Kenya University Nairobi 47-42 as Amos Njue shot 15 points while Isaac Muraya scored the losers 13.
