UGANDA : Who is the ZUKU TV University Basketball king?

Makerere University Sparks ladies (in black) will come face a reality test against the UCU Lady canons in the finals                      
Conference finals: (Free Entrance)
Women: UCU Lady Canons Vs MUK – 6 p.m
Men: Ndejje Vs UCU Canons – 8 pm
3rd Place Battle:
Women: Kampala University Vs Ndejje – 2:30 pm - Live on Zuku TV (Channel 300)
Men:Cavendish University Vs Makerere University – 4 :30 pm - Live on Zuku TV (Channel 300)
The inaugural ZUKU TV Basketball University league comes to an end on Saturday with 4 games lined up at the MTN Indoor arena in Kampala.
Two of these will be those to determine the third placed team and two will mark the grand finale to the tourney that has lasted 2 months.
This follows thrilling games that were played at the different University campuses in the group stages before the play-offs finals were conducted last week.
UCU will be hoping for a double after seeing two of their sides both in the male and female gender finals. In the women finals, the UCU lady canons take on Makerere Sparks in a highly billed thriller before their UCU Canons face Ndejje in the men's finals.
On Thursday this week, the national championship finals got started with the quarter finals at the MTN arena in Lugogo.
Semi Finals:
Semi finals were played on Friday (at the same venue). UCU Lady Canons booked their berth in the finals after overcoming Kampala University 106 – 26 in the game of the last 4 teams.
Purity Odiahimbo dropped a game high 30 points that included 15 rebounds, 10 steals and 1 block to inspire the Mukono based instuition.
Makerere University lady sparks eliminated Ndejje University 71 – 47 in the other semifinal.
In the male gender, It will be a Ndejje University vs UCU Canons final. Makerere University lost to Ndejje 49- 57 before Cavendish succumbed to UCU canons 62 – 48 in the last semifinal on Friday night.
The finals will be held on Saturday at the MTN arena in Lugogo. The national championships will crown the national champion in both men and women categories with mega cash prize of shs. 2,700,000 for the winners.
The first runners up will walk away with shs. 1,200,000 while the third placed teams will get shs. 650,000. And for the first time in Uganda, University basketball games will be aired live and in HD on ZUKU Sports channel 300.

Women:
UCU Lady Canons 106 –  26 Kampala University
NDEJJE 47 - 71 MUK Sparks
Men:
MUK 49 – 57 NDEJJE UNIVERSITY
UCU CANONS 62 - 48 CAVENDISH.
