UGANDA : FUBA outlines year long agenda
FUBA 2014 Season:

UCU Lady Canons Vs KIU Rangers - Women (6:30 pm)
City Oilers Vs UCU Canons - Men (8:30 pm)
The long awaited National basketball league is set to kick off this Friday at the Uganda Young Men's Association (YMCA) basketball courts this Friday.
"This year's season promises to be bigger and better than the previous seasons held", Ambrose Tashobya, FUBA president remarked at a special media briefing held to usher in the season long preparation plans.
The well attended ceremony took place at Hotel Triangle in Kampala on Wednesday morning.
Defending Champions draw first blood:
The women's defending champions, UCU lady canons will enter the frey first with a date against KIU Rangers in a 6:30 pm kick off at YMCA before the men's engagement to be played under floodlights between defending Champions, City Oilers taking on the UCU canons.
FUBA also outlined their year long agenda that includes the national U-18 team tournament, the national ladies 3 by 3 team and the Zonal team preparations.
FIBA Referees' Course:
Uganda is set to host the first ever FIBA international referees' course early next Month. FIBA Instructor from Egypt has already confirmed his participation in the week long course that will be held at Hotel Triangle in Kampala.
Uganda will be represented by 7 officials.
FUBA Vice President in charge of administration informed the media that they are planning a special press conference in the week to come where they will officially unveil the stake holders and the sponsors attached to the Federation.
