The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has postponed all Week Nine matches in the ongoing DStv Basketball League scheduled for May 2, an official said yesterday.
Agboola Pinheiro, a board member of the federation, told said in a
chat in Lagos that week nine matches were postponed because of the
league's prestigious All-Star Game.
Pinheiro said that the development would enable some players to participate in the All-Star match.
He said the week nine matches that were scheduled for May 2 across
the Atlantic and the Savannah Conferences had been moved to May 9.
"We are set to witness yet another All-Star Game which comes up on
May 3 in Lagos, hence the need to move the date of the matches across
the two conferences.
