FRANCIS Wanaswa led Daystar University to a 58-49 win over Don Bosco in the Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) league match at Railways Club.
Wanaswa, who has top scored for his team in all their opening three ties, out-scored two-time NBA scoring leader Joel Atebe with 25 points against 23. The duo have showed early intentions of battling for the leading scorers chart.
In their other matches, Daystar University thumped MKU Nairobi 50-28 as Wanaswa nailed 15 while Don Bosco dismissed Our Lady Queen of Peace 72-61 with Atebe posting 33. Linda Mfuchi also maintained her form, posting 31 points to lead Equity Bank to a 96-30 thumping of Zetech College. Pandas beat Embakasi Dynamos 57-45, Ulinzi won 69-44 against Zetech Thika Road while 4-Christ beat Woodley Knights 66-37.
