Basketball in Africa

Luanda — The final phase of the national senior males basketball championship (BAIBasket) will kick off Thursday in Luanda, with four teams to fight for the winning of the title, 1º de Agosto, Recreativo do Libolo, Petro de Luanda and Interclube.
The teams will be disputed in robin-round system in four turns and the side that wins greater number of points will be crowned champions of BAIBasket.
The penultimate phase of the championship was won by 1º de Agosto with 15 points, followed by Recreativo do Libolo (14), Interclube (12) and Petro de Luanda (11), but they all enter this stage without any point.
