THE curtain comes down to the Kenya University Sports Association (KUSA) Nairobi Conference basketball league with eight matches on the card at Kenyatta University courts this weekend. Reigning champions Strathmore University men and women teams are the sides to beat once again. The two finalists from the event will book a ticket to the main festival slated for mid next month in Nyeri.

The show throws off at 10 am with the 'Swords' facing a stiff KU side playing in front of their fans. The match pitting the 'Blades' against TUK will also be an interesting mix of high quality match up. United States International University 'Tigers' face-off against Zuku varsity champions University of Nairobi 'Terrorists' in another storming pairing. USIU 'Flames' who were Premier League runners up and also Zuku winners will bank on Hilda Indasi as they tackle improved UoN 'Dynamites' who will be out to prove a point.

Meanwhile, Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) have called all team managers to a crucial meeting at the Nyayo National Stadium this morning. KBF fixtures secretary Joseph Amoko said very crucial decisions will be made and asked all team managers to attend and contribute.
