Game 1 – Sunday, November 3 at 1:30pm
Game 2 – Sunday, November 10 at 5:30pm
Game 3 – Tuesday, November 12 at 7:30pm (If necessary)
While it is not exactly a bold prediction to place Dmark Power back into the National Basketball League playoff finals after exiting at the first round last year, there's no way to be certain who will emerge from the other playoff brackets.
But by virtue of being probably one the most talented teams in the league and going by their regular performances Power will enter every series this post season as decisive favourites. In this particular one Power should be able to overwhelm Charging Rhinos.
“No one has given us even the slightest of chances but just wait and see” Rhinos’ wingman Abel Omoding told Kawowo Sports. Now if that is not a promise (to us fans) then it is a warning to Power but whichever it is we will wait.
For a young Rhinos’ side facing a goliath line up on Power, Kalungi’s leadership should help the team remain focused. And by the way there is a lot of budding talent on that Rhinos’ team that can keep things interesting and may be but just may be pull off one win. Now won’t that make things interesting?
To many, (me inclusive) being at the play offs should an achievement to Rhinos. Actually it is. “Of course being at the playoffs for a team that was promoted is an achievement and actually was out target at the start of the season” Rhinos’ guard Fahmy Sebatindira told Kawowo Sports. “But that won’t make us complacent. We will play our hearts and if an upset happens, well and good and if it doesn’t we will have done our best” he added.
Prediction: Dmark Power 2-0. Basketball gods won’t be sleeping – again!
