KENYA : KBF Lower Division Play-Off Matches Get Underway At Railway Club
THREE matches are on card this weekend as the Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) lower division play-off matches Game One gets underway at the Railways Club. In the matches will be played on the best of three series basis. Leaders Equity Bank, who amassed 40 points in the 12 team set up, takes on Zetech College. The bankers who are the top seed remain favourites to carry the day with players like Vincent Onsongo and George Omenda tipped to rise to the occasion. Joshua Okumu and Jeremy Opiyo will be key for the college students assault.

In the Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) play-offs semifinals at the same venue, unbeaten Ulinzi Blades play Parklands Arya Girls while Gladiators take on Footprints in another game. Barclays Bank play Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Juja, Danking meet Don Bosco, Mount Kenya University (MKU) Thika tackle Africa Nazarene University while Baraka square it off with Legacy.
