KENYA : Thunder Come Up Against Lions At Upper Hill School
LEADERS Thunder play third placed Lions in an explosive premier league basketball tie at Upper Hill School tomorrow.
Thunder, who top the 12 team table with 30 points from 17 matches, will bank on Griffin Ligare while Lions who are third on 29 points have the ever dangerous Tobias Onyango and Ancette Wafula.
Lions second match is against Mennonites.
Strathmore who are fourth on have 29 points have a date with the relegation doomed Blazers and also tackle Thunder in an equally tight encounter. Blazers also play University of Nairobi "Terrorists".
Former six time champions Ulinzi play United States International University and then take on UoN.
"Tigers", who are deep down in position nine must fire from all cylinders to regain the form that saw them finish second last year.
The women's matches will see second placed Coop Bank meet Mennonites who have had a bad year by all standards. An all university clash pits USIU against Kenyatta University "Oryx".
