ANGOLA : Senior Female Basketball Team Face Egypt in Afrobasket's Quarter-Finals
The Angolan national senior female basketball team, winner of group B of the first phase of the African Cup of Nations (Afrobasket2013), will play on Friday Egypt in the quarter-finals.
Angola ended invincible the first phase of Afrobasket, after beating in extra time Mali by 67-66, in the group B's last round of the referred competition, taking place in Maputo, Mozambique.
The Angolans, African defending champions, totalled five straight wins against Nigeria (60-46), Cape Verde (76-51), Kenya (45-39) and Cameroon (48-44).
