Nigeria: Atlantic Conference Teams Begin Chase for Top Four Tickets Tomorrow

The battle for the two tickets from the Atlantic Conference for the DSTV/NBBF Basketball Final Four playoff commences tomorrow at the Indoor Hall of the National stadium in Lagos.
Disclosing this yesterday, Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), Secretary General, Francis Gbiri said that all the teams and technical officials are expected to arrive Lagos today for the pre-match meeting.
According to him, after the emergence of Kano Pillars and Mark Mentors from the Savannah Conference, four teams namely Union Bank, Dodan Warriors, Islanders and Oluyole Warriors are to contest for the remaining two slots in the DStv/NBBF Basketball Final Four play-offs from the Atlantic Conference.
"All the teams and technical officials are expected to arrive Lagos today for the pre-match meeting, real action begins tomorrow with two matches slated for each day," Gbiri said.
Union Bank who topped the Atlantic Conference in the DStv League are expected to battle third place side, Islanders in the first match of the competition with Dodan Warriors who emerged second taking to the court against Oluyole Warriors in the second match of the day.
On Sunday, Oluyole Warriors and Union Bank play first while Islanders and Dodan Warriors square up later.
All the matches hold in the afternoon from 2 p.m. each day. On Monday, Oluyole Warriors will face Islanders before Union Bank and Dodan Warriors will battle for supremacy in the last game.
