RWANDA : Espoir hope to extend bright start

REIGNING CHAMPIONS Espoir will be seeking a win when they play away to hosts UGB this afternoon at Amahoro indoor stadium in the fourth round of this year’s Basketball league.
The zonal champions had a brilliant start to their defence last week as they edged 30-Plus 91-63; Kigali Basketball Club 78-50 and then Cercle Sportif de Kigali 60-36.
Head coach John Bahufite said yesterday, “We hope to maintain the good start and see how far it goes. The team is well prepared and there is nothing that can stop us from thinking about retaining the league title,”
In other matches lined up today; Rusizi BBC hosts APR BBC while 30-plus takes on CSK at Amahoro indoor stadium.
Two matches are lined up tomorrow. KBC BBC will play away to Rusizi BBC while CSK will face UGB BBC in Rugunga.
