UGANDA : Rhinos look for elusive first win

ONLY four games into their first season since promotion to the Airtel National Basketball League, Charging Rhinos’ lacklustre displays so far have many wondering if they can cut it in the top flight.
Rhinos can ease these fears if they can take their chances against fellow strugglers Nkumba Marines this evening at YMCA, Wandegeya. Marines have won only one game so far this season while Rhinos are searching for their first league win of the season.
Rhinos will look to their star point guard Isaac Kamya for inspiration if they are to end the barren run. The bottom two clubs are demoted at the end of the season with Rhinos and Miracle Eagles currently occupying those slots while Nkumba are one spot clear of the drop zone.
Former National champions Nkumba Marines will look to Brain Sivachi and Emmanuel Nyabuto, their standout performers this season for inspiration.
Meanwhile, in the ladies category, Gladiators will host Makerere Sparks in the first game of the day with both sides eyeing only their second wins of the season.
