Zanzibar — POLISI Zanzibar and Rangers emerged winners in their respective matches at the ongoing Unguja Zone Basketball League in the isles. Rangers sneaked out with a narrow 61-59 victory over Mbuyuni in a closely fought match at the Maisara courts in an early match.
In the second match Polisi proved to be too strong for Nyuki after grabbing a 64-53 victory in a match played at the same venue. The league which has attracted ten men and eight ladies teams will continue today with only one match to pit Polisi and Stone Town
