KCCA Leopards, hosts of the ongoing annual inter-cities basketball tournament, were nervous when Flavia Oketcho limped on the opening night, Monday.

The reigning league Most Valuable Player (MVP) had her ankle strapped in layers on bandage. “I feel a lot of pain in my ankle,” Oketcho said. “But the team will be fine.” Indeed, they were, following up their opening day 61-50 win over Entebbe with a 61-49 victory against Kampala B, a select side of upcoming players, at the Lugogo MTN Arena.
