KENYA : USIU to usher in more young players

Kenya Basketball Women’s league side USIU Tigers is set to have more young players in its side.
Tigers’ coach David Maina was at the term one KSSSA games which were hosted at the Mangu High School and was concluded on Saturday where he was officiating as a referee but also went to scout for potential talent for his side.
Speaking to michezoafrika.com while at the tournament Maina stated that the best place to look for potential players was the school games where there is an array of talent, “this is the place where you can find players who have potential and if nurtured well can be better players, that is why I am on the lookout.”
USIU Tigers finished 2nd in the 2012 KBF Premier League.
