KENYA : Eagle Wings Delight in Kakamega

National women premier league defending champions Eagle Wings on Saturday morning mauled their hosts, Western Delight, with a 71-28 scoreline at the Kakamega Police Canteen. This was the first match for Eagle Wings since the commencement of the 2013 season two weeks ago.
The league defending champions dominated the home team in all quarters pinning them under ten points in all four, 15-07, 13-02, 24-07 and 19-07.
Vilma Achieng had the highest points for Eagle Wings scoring 24 on the day while Evelyn Nora had 15 and Samba Mjomba 10.
“It was a good match and we thank God that we started positively. The win will motivate our upcoming matches and we hope to pick up from there and continue posting even better results.” Said deputy coach Evelyn Kedogo.
