Joseph Ikong and Eric Malinga will lock horns in the Castle Lite Friday Night Lights semifinals after guiding their teams to victory in the quarterfinals.

Defending champions Team Ikong survived a scare before squeezing past Team Kasewu 51-47 in overtime at YMCA on Friday while Team Malinga eased past Team Amonding 57-36.
Ikong scored a game high 17 points for his side.

Meanwhile, with the Malinga brothers Eric and Henry not featuring prominently, UCU Canons’ Desmond Owili was voted the best entertaining player on the night. He pocketed Shs100,000 for his efforts in Team Malinga’s victory.
