KENYA : Sironga Beat Enkinda to Win Nyamira County Schools Basketball Title
HOSTS Sironga High edged out Enkinda 33-14 to win the Nyamira County secondary schools girls' basketball title. Sironga, coached by Maurice Mwenda led 17-6 at the breather with Milka Nyagwoka, Molly Atieno and Esther Nyagaka inspiring the winners to retain the title. Nyagwoka and Atieno top-scored with 10 points each. In the semis, Sironga beat Rigoma Mixed 37-08 while Enkinda defeated Nyaikuro 15-08.
However, Sironga and Enkinda will represent Nyamira at the Lake and Highland region championships scheduled for next week at Cardinal Otunga High School, Mosocho.
