KENYA : Eight matches lined up for Basketball league kick off

The Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) Premier League and the Division One Leagues commence in a fortnight with eight matches already lined up for the first weekend of action.
According to the released fixtures, Thunder will start their 2013 season campaign against defending Champions Co-op Bank at the Nyayo Gymnasium while Blazers take on Mennonites at the same venue.
KPA will host University students MMUST at the KPA gymnasium at Makande in Mombasa with the NYTA-Shimba Hills facing Western Delight at the same venue.
In Division One, relegated Terror will face Umoja while newly promoted Little Prince will go against KAA.
Cooperative Bank of Kenya and self sponsored club Eagle Wings are the champions of the 2012 edition of the league in the men and women categories respectively.
The full weekend One fixtures as follows:
Div 1- KAA vs Little Prince (9am), Umoja vs Terror (10:30am); (Nyayo Gymnasium)
Women Premier league - Co-op Bank vs SafeSpaces (12:00pm), Storms vs KCA -University (1:30pm), NYTA-Shimba vs Western Delight (2:00pm);
Men’s Premier league - Mennonites vs Blazers (3:00pm), Thunder vs Co-op Bank (4:30pm) KPA vs MMUST (4:00pm)
