KENYA : NBA Provincial League to resume in March

The Nairobi Basketball Association Provincial League will resume in mid March, this is according to the league's treasurer Dan Were.
Were said the league's committee had met but had not agreed on the actual league kick off dates, “There was a meeting in which a number of things were discussed but we have not decided the exact date. If we come to a decision we shall communicate as soon as possible."
The treasurer also encouraged the teams that owed the league some money to pay up or may be locked out of the 2013 season, "there are teams that did not clear their financial obligations last year, we would like to appeal to them to pay up or we shall lock them out. There are many teams that are interested in joining us yet there are ones who seem not to be serious."
Equity basketball team were the 2012 champions in the league followed by Strathmore University. Both teams booked a spot to participate in the KBF Division One League.
