KENYA : Kiganya: It is a positive start

Assistant coach of the Kenya men’s basketball team Peter Kiganya says a win on day one of the competition was a positive sign. Kenya beat Burundi 71-63 in their opening match at the ongoing African Cup of Nations qualifiers in Daresalaam Tanzania.
“We have won but that should not get into our heads. We still have a long way to go and we have to maintain focus.” He said.
Kenya which is captained by shooting guard Ancet Wafula is in a relatively easy group B alongside Burundi and Somalia.
Group A has defending champions Rwanda, hosts Tanzania, Uganda and Egypt.
