KENYA : USIU continue to stamp authority in Universities league

The United States International University basketball teams the Flames (women) and Tigers (men) continued their dominance in the KUSA basketball league after registering wins in all their matches played over the weekend.
on Saturday Tigers led by inspirational player Evans Leting beat Multi Media University 40-27 where Leting scored 18 points for the Thika Road based side. For the Flames they had an easy time when they crushed the hosts African Nazarene University 76-10 with Nancy Atieno giving the winners 20 points.
On Sunday the two teams were at it again with the ladies team dominating Athi River based Daystar University 70-24 and the men’s side beating C.U.E.A 60-47. Arch- rivals Strathmore University (both men and women) also secured wins in all their matches with the Blades overcoming Co-op Univesity 57-23 on Sunday.
