CHAMPIONS Kigali Basketball Club are set to continue their bright start to the season when they face rivals Cercle Sportif de Kigali (CSK) on the second day of the national basketball league due this afternoon at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.
Last week, Kigali Basketball Club started the defence of their league title with two back to back wins against league's new comers' 30-Plus (86-45) and Rusizi (114-31).
Their rivals CSK also ditched APR with a slim 50-49 victory to put them in contention for a successful season.
In other matches, 30-Plus host UGB Kigali Institute of Education (KIE BBC) take on Espoir BBC; National University of Rwanda (NUR) host APR at national university court on Saturday.
On Sunday, Rusizi BBC will host APR BBC in Rusizi.
Meanwhile, the women basketball league is expected to start in a fortnight. Five teams, which have so far confirmed their participation, include APR, the National University of Rwanda, KIE, CSK and new comers RAPP.
