Kenya: Wings Bow Out of Africa Club Tourney

EAGLE Wings crushed out of the 18th women's Fiba Africa Club Championships after falling 46-66 to Abidjan Basketball Club (ABC) in Abidjan on Tuesday night.
The Kenyan champions, who did not win any of their four preliminary round matches, must now go back to the drawing board and ponder on where things might have gone wrong.
With their last opponent Arc En Ciel of DR Congo failing to travel for the tournament, Wings will now play their classification match against a team from the other pool.
In the other matches played on Tuesday, home girls CSA (Ivory Coast) nipped Liga Desportivo (Mozambique) 80-74, First bank (Nigeria) lost 45-55 to De Agosto (Angola) while Interclube (Angola) whipped First Deep Water (Nigeria).
