KENYA : Hosts Clip Eagle Wings

Eagle Wings on Tuesday night lost their 4th consecutive match of the tournament after going down 66-46 to hosts ABC in the ongoing FIBA African Women club championships in Abidjan Ivory Coast. Eagle Wings lost in all quarters but the third in which they drew 10 all (12-19, 07-09, 10-10, 17-19).
In earlier matches, the Kenyan league defending champions who are also regional champions lost to CSS Faxien from Tunisia, Inter Clube of Angola and Deep Waters from Nigeria. Their next scheduled match is against Arc En Ciel from DRC who are not taking part in the competition after withdrawing in the last minute. This therefore means they will get a walk over and await their next match against Ndella from Gabon.
Bridgid Nanzala scored 12 points for Eagle Wings and Angela Okoth had 09 points. Berte Salimata had 17 and Ebonji Salange Hellen 18 for the opponents.
