KENYA : Eagle Wings drawn with defending champions Interclube

East African Basketball champions Eagle Wings have been drawn in Pool B alongside defending champions Inter Clube of Angola in the FIBA African women basketball championships that kick off on Friday in Abidjan Ivory Coast.
Ten Teams have already confirmed participation with Kenya’s Eagle Wings representing Zone 5.The tournament will be played in a round robin format with the four teams in each pool qualifying for the quarter finals.
Kenya’s Wesonga Agina was also last night elected to be a member of Jury of Appeal which is being chaired by the President of FIBA Africa.
POOL A: CSA, Liga Disportivo, First Bank, Radi, Ndela, De Agosto
Pool B : Interclub, Deep Water, Arc En Cell, Eagle Wings, ABC and CSS Faxiene
