Basketball in Africa

The Angolan teams of Interclube and 1º de Agosto guaranteed their presence in the quarterfinals of the African Champion Clubs Cup in senior females basketball, which is happening in Cote d'Ivoire, after finishing the group stage in the first and second positions, respectively.
In the quarterfinals, Interclube will play this Friday the CS of Cote d'Ivoire, whereas 1º de Agosto wil face the First Deepwater team of Nigeria.
In the group stage, Interclube won all the games (four) while 1º de Agosto won three and lost one.
