UGANDA : Titans face Warriors

KIU Titans were widely expected to challenge the budding Airtel National Basketball League duopoly of DMark Power and Warriors.
Along the way, like many universities do during recess, KIU stumbled badly. They find themselves holding onto fourth at 12-4. With the academic year now in progress, KIU will have a near full strength side for the game against log leaders Warriors (15-1) at YMCA court today (8:30pm). There was much more to their 88-49 rout of Giant Stormers last Saturday as several players, who had been missing for months, returned.
Kenyan Richard Omondi, signed from Falcons in the offseason, is among the returnees, scoring 13 points in his first game since June following a spell of injuries.
