UGANDA : Form sides fight to keep momentum

Beneath Warriors’ hold at the summit of the Airtel National Basketball League, Falcons and Miracle Eagles have been doing some special things.
Six-time champions Falcons (14-2) have won nine in a row. Eagles (9-7) have lost only twice in nine games. The two clash at YMCA court today.
The recent re-admission into the Lugogo MTN Arena was only a flirt. It was closed again in the aftermath of the Fiba Africa Zone V Club Championships.
Apparently, engineers from National Council of Sports (NCS) and MTN, who funded its renovation, need to assess the impact of the gym floor.
Fuba will be anxiously waiting for that report. As that is being done, Falcons and Eagles, both destined for the playoffs starting next month, are giving it a final go.
“Our target is finish as high as possible,” Falcons’ assistant coach Gad Eteu. He is without Douglas Uwizera. He has been missing for sometime due to injury. He also lost his elder brother this week.
