SEYCHELLES : Beau Vallon Heat clinch league title for automatic promotion
| After spending four seasons in the second division, Beau Vallon Heat will
once again feature among the elites next season after winning the second tier’s
league title to earn automatic promotion. In their last league match on Saturday at Victoria Gymnasium, Heat inflicted a heavy 121-21 defeat on the young Juniors selection, bringing the league record to 10 wins and two losses in 12 matches. Heat’s only two defeats this season were against AAP Brothers 59-60 in the first round and Anse Etoile 68-72 in the second. Under the guidance of coach Guy Hall, Heat who have acquired the service of ex-Baya and Seychelles international playmaker Giovanni Laval will replace Cascade Bullets who will be demoted to the lower division next season.
