Liberia: LBA Boss Challenged Media Report - Defies Self-Styled Accusers to Come Open
The president of the Liberia Basketball Association, Mr. T. Rufus Anderson has challenged media report that financial report at the just-ended FIBA Afrique Zone III has been struck due to his leadership's failure to make report to the organizing committee of contributions from some donors including Cellcom GSM, NOCAL and LCCBC amongst others.
In a telephone conversation yesterday, Mr. Anderson challenged anyone to show out with evidence that indeed he collected some funding from business institutions.
"We did not collect anything from anywhere, we're still waiting for the committee's report," he said.
"They want to damage my reputation, and every piece of information given and published is false and misleading," he stated.
