Kenya: Nairobi Club to Host Basketball Play-Offs
Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) play-offs are scheduled for October 13-14 at Railways Club. According to the programme released by secretary Sylvia Kamau, the post season games will come to an end on November 25.
The finals will be played in the best of five series. The battle for the eight team spots in the two zones together with the ladies have intensified with only two weeks to play.
Only 16 of the 25 teams in the men's category and eight in the women's will book a place in the post season that will determine the league winners. Teams that are in the top eight are-Zone A: Little Prince, Zetech College, Barclays Bank of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUATS) Juja, Don Bosco, Neosasa Morans, Mount Kenya University (MKU) Thika and Dolphins.
Zone B: Strathmore University, Equity Bank, Baraka Xtreme, Old Pirates, Daystar University, Legacy, MKU Nairobi and Multi Media University. The women's teams comprise- Kenya College of Accountancy University (KCA), Kenyatta University, Strathmore University, JKUATS, MMU, Safe Spaces, Barclays Bank Eaglets and Footprints
