Eagle Wings' head coach Smarts Olumbo is beaming with confidence ahead of the weekend KBF premier league women’s crunch tie pitting this team Eagle Wings against current league leaders USIU who remain unbeaten to date since the start of the season.
Having lost the first leg match to the Flames 52-58, the league defending champions Eagle Wings, fresh from winning the regional title will leave nothing to chance and will parade al their might to ensure they down the Hilda Indasi led squad.
“We are fired to go and more composed this time. Our momentum is very high especially having won in Kampala in the Zone 5.Beating our other bitter rivals KPA in the finals I Kampala was sweet revenge because they also defeated us in the first leg here in Nairobi. It’s time we faced USIU.” Said Olumbo.
“Saturday will be just one game. We need all the focus that there is while taking all our chances. We made grievous mistakes before and we won’t be making them again.” Said the coach
