Nigeria: Ndanusa Tasks D'Tigers On Sharp Shooting Against Lithuania
Nigeria Olympic Committee president Engr. SaniNdanusa who was on the stand and watched Nigeria senior basketball team, D'Tigers beat Tunisia on Sunday has charged the team to sharpen its shooting today against Lithuania.
Nigeria will today confront the Europeans in a dicey clash that may see them pick a quarter final tickets should they win. Nigeria had beaten this same team last month at the Olympics Qualifying Tournament in Caracas, Venezuela. But Ndanusa told LEADERSHIP SPORTS exclusively that he would want the Nigerian side to improve against Lithuania in the area of shooting.
"I am happy that we won our first match against Tunisia but I want to see D'Tigers improve in the area of shooting against Lithuania today. They have to sharpen their shooting skills and take good advantage of free throws. I believe that we are getting better" He however said that today's encounter will be tough. "Lithuania will be tough so D'Tigers must improve today because the higher they go the tougher it will become."
