KIU Titans are playing their cards right by refusing to be drawn into the focus as Airtel National Basketball League title contenders. The 71-67 conquest of champions DMark Power on Sunday at YMCA court will firmly cast them in the light.
They have a roster capable of challenging for the crown. They restricted Power to only seven points in a decisive third quarter going on a 12-0 run. KIU led 61-48 with 4.35 to play. There were three-pointers from Komakech and Isaac Afidra, 12 points but it was all in vain.
