KENYA : Storms and Lions at the helm of KBF Premier League

After 7 rounds of matches in the Kenya Basketball Federation Premier league, Storms are the current table toppers with 11 points having won 4 of their 7 matches a point more from early leaders Western Delight who have been displaced to second having won all their first five matches.
Defending champions Eagle Wings are 4th with 8 points also being unbeaten. Predators are at the bottom of the table at position 12 with only one point after 5 matches. Predators have lost all 3 matches that they have played while they have forfeited 2 matches.
Gladiators are at position 11 with 2 points after 3 games while coast based Kenya Ports Authority are at position 10 with 2 points having won the only game that they have played.

In the men’s category, bankers KCB have maintained the driving seat comfortably at the helm with 12 points with a 100% record having won all their first matches. Second is Thika road based students USIU with 10 points also being unbeaten in their 5 outings. Strathmore and defending champions Co-op bank are at position 3 and 4 respectively both having 9 points but the champions have 2 more matches compared to the students.
At the bottom of the men’s table, Mennonites are at position 10 with 3 points having won only one match, losing three while forfeiting one. Kisumu based Lakeside close the table with only 2 points having lost 3 matches of its matches while forfeiting one.

The league resumes over the weekend.
